KIBŌ NOBORI (Hope Flags)

Artist Faith-Ann Young presents three site-specific installations of Kibō Nobori at JACCC, inspired by Japanese koinobori—carp streamers flown for Children’s Day—unfolding as a series of translucent “hope flags” across the campus.

On May 3, during JACCC’s Kodomo no Hi (Children’s Day) celebrations, the Tea Room becomes a participatory space where all are invited to relax, draw, and share messages of hope.
